-What is your opinion about the essence of the conflict between China and Vietnam – economical or sovereign?

Firstly, the bilateral settlements between two countries are good and necessary but please note that there are two different situations. Hoang Sa (Paracel Archipalego) and Truong Sa (Spratly Archipalego).

Chinese government has insisted that Paracel Islands are belonging to China and hasn’t accepted the bilateral settlement. So how can you say it is bilateral issue? This disputing is similar to Japanese’s Senkaku Islands which China acclaiming to be its. China does always ask for multilateral settlements. Why China has two-faced criteria for conflicts which have the same essence.

It’s proving that it has two faces; a coward China toward Japan – a stronger nation; one bully China toward smaller countries such as Indochina, Taiwan, …

Via HongKong’s broadcast, Doctor Vu Cao Phan commented that all Vietnamese speeches were nationally defensive only and without threat of war. He believed the conflich would be solved in peace.

Below is his responds to Phoenix Communication of HongKong, sent lastweek.

- What attitudes have the Vietnam firm expressions from about Eastern See (Biển Đông) recently contained?

It’s not appropriate and accurate to judge Vietnam’s attitudes if just concentrate to individual events. We need to extend our view a bit further.

Recently, more and moreVietnamese fishermen were hold captive by Chineses. The robbers have seized their poor equipment and asked ransoms. Last year, dozens of boats and hundreds of hardworking fishermen (around Vietnam central cities) were captured from their traditional fishing region.Now, the darknest things happen.

Frequently, Vietnamese National Tele-Communication broadcasts the events of hundreds fishermen’s relatives raggedly sitting on shores looking forward to re-uniting with their fathers, their husbands and their sons. These things have been raising a lot of questions about consciences. Surely, the Chinese men can not understand.

Vietnamese government has been trying to raise the questions toward Chinese, but most of them were not responded. This time, Chinese started sabotage us stronger, Vietnam was forced to have stronger re-actions, it’s not too unusual. Regarding to this behavour, I believe, Vietnamese’s statements were just defensive, not the threats of war as Chinese’s thoughts.

The reason of Chinese people found our actions unusual that were you had not known the events mentioned. Chinese government always steps on the war ladder firstly.

- According to yourself, will the conflick on Eastern Sea be able to solved by armed or settlement in peace?

In Vietnam, this question is rarely raised. Althought Vietnam had to cope with a lot of war through the last century, but, at the moment, not many Vietnamese people think about new Viet-Chi war dued to some islands on Eastern Sea. I myself believe the conflict will be solved in peace.

Firstly, both governments have commited to solved the conflicts not by weapons but through diplomatic negotiations.

Secondly, both nations were doing their best to develope the countries after the Chinese Cultural Revolution - (http://vi.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A1ch_m%E1%BA%A1ng_v%C4%83n_h%C3%B3a) and Vietname war -

Finally, this is very important that the two countries’ people’s reasons will cool up their ‘hot-head’ governments. If I ask you, honestly, do you want another war?

- Sự thể hiện cứng rắn gần đây của Việt Nam ở Nam Hải (Biển Đông) biểu thị thái độ gì?

- Nếu chỉ nhìn vào riêng biệt các sự kiện xảy ra gần đây để đánh giá phản ứng và thái độ của Việt Nam thì sẽ không chính xác. Phải nhìn rộng ra một chút, nhìn xa ra một chút. Vài năm gần đây ngày càng có nhiều tàu đánh cá của phía Việt Nam bị Trung Quốc bắt giữ, tịch thu hết lưới cụ rồi đòi tiền chuộc. Như năm ngoái chẳng hạn, hàng chục tàu thuyền, hàng trăm ngư dân khu vực miền Trung bị bắt giữ. Đây vốn là vùng đánh cá truyền thống lâu đời và yên lành của ngư dân Việt Nam, bây giờ bỗng nhiên liên tục xảy ra những sự việc như vậy.

Có lần truyền hình Việt Nam chiếu cảnh hàng trăm thân nhân của những người đánh cá đứng, ngồi lam lũ trên bờ biển khóc lóc ngóng lo chồng con trở về đã gây ra rất nhiều bức xúc trong dư luận xã hội (điều này chắc các bạn Trung Quốc không biết).

Nhà đương cục Việt Nam đã nhiều lần tiếp xúc với phía Trung Quốc về vấn đề đó nhưng hầu như không được đáp ứng. Lần này Trung Quốc hành động mạnh hơn thì phản ứng của Việt Nam cũng buộc phải mạnh hơn, không có gì quá bất thường. Trong tinh thần ấy, tôi nghĩ, phát biểu của lãnh đạo Việt Nam cũng chỉ là những phản ứng tự vệ, đâu có phải là lời lẽ đe dọa chiến tranh như các bạn vừa suy luận. Nếu người dân Trung Quốc thấy bất thường thì có lẽ là vì các bạn không biết đến các sự kiện trước đó như tôi vừa nói. Còn nếu gọi đây là một sự leo thang thì phải thấy là Việt Nam leo theo các bạn Trung Quốc. Đúng thế đấy, phía Trung Quốc luôn luôn leo lên trước.

- Theo ông, tranh chấp trên Nam Hải (Biển Đông) sẽ được giải quyết bằng vũ lực hay đàm phán?

- Ở Việt Nam loại câu hỏi như thế này hầu như không được đặt ra. Tôi nói hầu như nghĩa là không phải không có. Mặc dù Việt Nam đã phải đương đầu với nhiều cuộc chiến tranh suốt hơn nửa thế kỷ qua nhưng không nhiều người nghĩ đến khả năng có một cuộc chiến tranh Trung - Việt vào lúc này vì những hòn đảo ở Biển Đông (Trung Quốc gọi là Nam Hải). Về phía cá nhân, tôi tin cuộc tranh chấp sẽ được giải quyết một cách hòa bình.

Thứ nhất là vì Chính phủ hai nước luôn luôn cam kết sẽ giải quyết những tranh chấp này không phải bằng vũ lực mà thông qua con đường ngoại giao, đàm phán thương lượng.

Thứ hai, cả hai nước đều đang ra sức phát triển kinh tế sau nhiều năm bị tàn phá bởi Cách mạng Văn hóa ở Trung Quốc và chiến tranh ở Việt Nam; và công cuộc xây dựng phát triển kinh tế này đang đạt được những kết quả khả quan, chắc là không bên nào muốn để chiến tranh một lần nữa kéo lùi sự phát triển của đất nước mình.

Thứ ba, bối cảnh của một thế giới hiện đại - tôi muốn nói đến một dư luận quốc tế đã trưởng thành - sẽ mạnh mẽ góp sức ngăn ngừa một khả năng như vậy.

Thứ tư, và điều này cũng rất quan trọng, là nếu chính phủ hai nước có nóng đầu một chút thì lý trí và tình cảm của nhân dân cả hai bên sẽ giúp cho họ tỉnh táo hơn, tôi tin như vậy. Tôi xin hỏi lại anh, chắc anh cũng không muốn có một cuộc chiến tranh chứ?

Tuy nhiên, vẫn có thể xảy ra những va chạm, xung đột nhỏ.

- Bản chất của sự tranh chấp Trung - Việt, theo ông, là vấn đề kinh tế hay chủ quyền? Việt Nam nhìn nhận nguyên tắc "gác tranh chấp, cùng khai thác” như thế nào?

- Đây là một câu hỏi thú vị. Các sự kiện ở Biển Đông cho thấy có cả màu sắc tranh chấp về kinh tế lẫn tranh chấp chủ quyền. Quan sát khách quan thì thấy Trung Quốc có vẻ nghiêng về lý do kinh tế, còn Việt Nam nghiêng về lý do chủ quyền nhiều hơn. Cách nhìn vấn đề như vậy sẽ giải thích được tại sao Việt Nam không mặn mà lắm với việc “gác tranh chấp, cùng khai thác”.

Ta thử phân tích xem tại sao nhé. Và đây là ý kiến của cá nhân tôi thôi. Lý do thứ nhất là tài nguyên thì có hạn, một khi khai thác hết rồi điều gì sẽ xảy ra? Liên quan đến nó là lý do thứ hai: “gác tranh chấp, cùng khai thác” mà các bạn vừa nêu mới chỉ là một nửa lời căn dặn của ông Đặng Tiểu Bình mà nguyên văn là: “Chủ quyền của ta, gác tranh chấp, cùng khai thác”, có đúng không? Như thế có nghĩa là khi đã cạn kiệt tài nguyên khai thác rồi, Việt Nam chẳng còn gì và Trung Quốc thì vẫn còn cái cơ bản là “chủ quyền”! Mà những hòn đảo và vùng biển ấy đâu chỉ có giá trị về tài nguyên?

Tôi ủng hộ việc hai nước cùng hợp tác khai thác tài nguyên ở Biển Đông nhưng ít nhất trước đó cũng phải làm sáng tỏ đến một mức độ nhất định nào đó (nếu chưa hoàn toàn) vấn đề chủ quyền.

Về câu hỏi của các bạn là bản chất của cuộc tranh chấp Việt - Trung là gì, kinh tế hay chủ quyền thì tôi đã phát biểu như vậy. Nhưng nếu cho tôi được phát triển theo ý mình thì tôi nói rằng, bản chất của cuộc tranh chấp này là chính trị. Quan hệ Việt - Trung không yên tĩnh đã từ mấy chục năm nay rồi và nó là một dòng gần như liên tục, trước khi xuất hiện vấn đề biển đảo những năm gần đây, có phải vậy không? Để giải quyết nó, các nhà lãnh đạo cần phải ngồi lại với nhau, ở cấp cao nhất ấy, một cách bình đẳng, bình tĩnh, thẳng thắn và chân thành. Vấn đề hóc búa đấy. Đương đầu với sự thật không dễ dàng, nhưng sẽ dễ dàng nếu xuất phát từ thiện chí mong muốn một sự bền vững thực chất cho tình hữu nghị Việt - Trung.

- Theo ông, tương lai phát triển của quan hệ Trung - Việt sẽ như thế nào? Làm cách nào để có thể duy trì quan hệ hữu hảo giữa hai nước?

- Tôi là một người có nhiều năm công tác ở Hội Hữu nghị Việt - Trung, có nhiều mối quan hệ gắn bó với Trung Quốc và nói một cách rất chân thành là tôi yêu Trung Quốc, khâm phục Trung Quốc và thậm chí có thể gọi là “thân Trung Quốc” cũng được. Vì thế, điều mong muốn thường trực của tôi là làm sao xây dựng được một mối quan hệ tốt đẹp, thật sự tốt đẹp giữa nhân dân hai nước. Chắc các bạn cũng muốn vậy. Nhưng có không ít việc phải làm. Có việc phải bắt đầu lại. Trước hết, như tôi đã nói là phải ngồi lại với nhau. Có vị bảo với tôi là ngồi mãi rồi còn gì. Không, ngồi như vậy chưa được, ngồi như vậy không được. Ngồi thế không phải là ngồi thẳng.

Về phần mình với mong muốn như vậy, tôi xin được gửi gắm đôi điều giống như là những lời tâm sự đến các bạn:

Thứ nhất là, vấn đề đàm phán song phương giữa hai nước. Tôi nghĩ đàm phán song phương cũng tốt, cũng cần thiết. Những nơi có tranh chấp đa phương như quần đảo Trường Sa (Nam Sa) thì cần phải đàm phán nhiều bên còn như quần đảo Hoàng Sa (Tây Sa) là vấn đề của riêng hai nước Việt Nam và Trung Quốc lại khác.

Nhưng Chính phủ các bạn lại tuyên bố Hoàng Sa dứt khoát là của Trung Quốc, không phải là vấn đề có thể đưa ra đàm phán. Vậy thì còn cái gì nữa để mà “song phương” ở đây? Chính tuyên bố ấy của Trung Quốc đã đóng sập cánh cửa “con đường song phương”. Tình trạng tranh chấp Hoàng Sa rất giống với tình trạng tranh chấp của đảo Điếu Ngư, giữa Trung Quốc và Nhật Bản mà ở đấy, địa vị của Trung Quốc hoàn toàn giống như địa vị của Việt Nam ở Hoàng Sa lúc này. Chẳng lẽ Trung Quốc lại có một tiêu chuẩn kép cho những cuộc tranh chấp giống nhau về bản chất sao?

Thứ hai là, chúng ta thường nói đến sự tương đồng văn hóa giữa hai nước như là một lợi thế cho việc chung sống hữu nghị bên nhau giữa hai dân tộc. Điều đó đúng một phần, nhưng mặt khác, văn hóa Việt Nam, nhất là văn hóa ứng xử có sự khác biệt lớn với Trung Quốc. Nếu văn hóa ứng xử của người Trung Quốc là mạnh mẽ, dứt khoát, quyết đoán (và do đó thường áp đặt?), nặng về lý trí, thì văn hóa ứng xử của người Việt Nam là nhẹ nhàng, khoan dung, nặng về tình, ơn thì nhớ lâu, oán thì không giữ. Hình như các bạn Trung Quốc chưa hiểu được điều này ở người Việt Nam. Cần phải hiểu được như vậy thì quan hệ giữa hai bên mới dễ dàng.

Tôi có thể lấy một ví dụ. Những sự kiện ở Nam Kinh, ở Lư Cầu Kiều xảy ra đã hơn bảy chục năm rồi. Nhưng mỗi khi có vấn đề với Nhật Bản, người Trung Quốc lại xuống đường biểu tình, đầy căm thù nhắc lại những sự kiện ấy. Người Việt Nam thì không như vậy. Phát xít Nhật đã góp phần gây ra nạn đói giết chết hàng triệu người Việt Nam năm 1945, và trong cuộc chiến tranh Việt Nam 1965 – 1975, người Mỹ, người Hàn Quốc đã gây rất nhiều tội ác đối với nhân dân Việt Nam. Nhưng sau chiến tranh, chính những người lính các nước này khi trở lại Việt Nam đã rất ngạc nhiên bắt gặp những nụ cười niềm nở thân thiện của người dân. Có lẽ nhờ thái độ, cách ứng xử đó của người Việt Nam chăng mà Mỹ, Nhật, Hàn cuối cùng đã trở thành những đối tác kinh tế và thương mại lớn, và là những nước viện trợ hàng đầu cho Việt Nam sau chiến tranh?

Nói như thế vì tôi thấy rằng, cách ứng xử nặng nề của phía Trung Quốc đối với Việt Nam đã và đang đẩy những người Việt Nam vốn rất yêu quý Trung Quốc ra xa các bạn, chứ không phải là Việt Nam cố đi tìm liên minh để chống Trung Quốc.

Lấy thêm một ví dụ nữa nhé! Bây giờ chúng ta đã có thể hiểu bản chất sự kiện (cũng có thể gọi là cuộc chiến tranh) tháng 2/1979 rồi. Người Việt Nam đã muốn quên đi, và khi tiếp xúc với các bạn Trung Quốc vẫn luôn giữ một sự niềm nở chân tình. Trái lại người Trung Quốc rất hay nói đến sự kiện đó. Các bạn biết không, năm 2009, tôi chẳng để ý đó là năm gì, giở báo, mạng của các bạn mới biết là đã 30 năm kể từ 1979. Không phải chỉ vào tháng 2 đâu mà suốt cả năm 2009 người ta nói về sự kiện này. Hàng mấy trăm bài viết, nhiều bài trên mạng mà nhìn vào chỉ muốn khóc. Lời lẽ thật tàn tệ. Thôi, cho chuyện này qua đi …

Thứ ba là, quan hệ giữa hai nước chúng ta thậm chí phải trở nên đặc biệt vì chúng ta có sự tương đồng văn hóa, lịch sử, là láng giềng không thể cắt rời, từng hoạn nạn có nhau (bản thân tôi là một người lính trong chiến tranh Việt Nam, tôi không thể nào quên sự giúp đỡ chí tình của nhân dân Trung Quốc về cả vũ khí, lương thực mà mình trực tiếp được sử dụng). Hai nước chúng ta lại đang cùng cải cách mở cửa, phát triển kinh tế. Chừng ấy lý do là quá đủ để quan hệ này trở nên hiếm có, trở nên đặc biệt. Tôi nói như vậy là muốn phát biểu thêm rằng, hai nước còn một lý do tương đồng nữa là cùng thể chế chính trị, cùng ý thức hệ, điều hay được người ta nhắc đến. Nhưng theo ý kiến cá nhân tôi - của riêng tôi thôi nhé - thì không cần nhấn mạnh điểm tương đồng này. Nó tồn tại như một điều kiện, một lý do thế thôi, không cần nhấn mạnh như cách hai nước vẫn làm. Giữa các nước có cùng ý thức hệ kiểu này vẫn xảy ra xung đột, chiến tranh vì quyền lợi quốc gia như chúng ta đã biết đấy thôi. Thực tế là quyền lợi quốc gia cao hơn ý thức hệ. Chúng ta nên thẳng thắn nhìn nhận vậy để khỏi dối lòng nhau. Hơn nữa, giả dụ một ngày nào đó một trong hai nước chúng ta có một thể chế chính trị khác thì sao, chúng ta lúc ấy còn cần duy trì quan hệ láng giềng tốt nữa không? Vẫn cần chứ, rất cần. Vậy thì …

Looking down from high above, the city was quiet at night. The traffic’s warm light illuminating here and there. Near the brick-walled buildings, among the blackened leafless trees, the natural panorama, blue and almost brown coloured, looked so calm on a winter night. Thanks to the large windows in the ninth floor, Leftbank apartment, the view over Manchester was so clear and extended toward the horizon.

Although there was no snow falling these days, you could feel it was still freezing if the window was open. The nights seemed to be longer during those winter days as it was still dark at eight in the morning.

Heading to the office, your eyes would catch sight of the great number of pedestrians. They seemed to be everywhere, walking out from the tarmac lanes, rolling through the open squares, rushing out from the glass halls of the coffee bars and markets, hovering about the bus stops. The pale climate was emphasised by the dark colours of the long coats, scarves, suitcases and other kinds of paraphernalia. The most exciting way to start the morning was having a tall Cappuccino from Starbuck’s and a morning newspaper, which you could pick up along the streets.

Working in the office of A was most exciting. They were professional colleagues who were really concentrating on their work, helping each other and so open to conversation. The coffee breaks, games of pool or darts were so cheerful there.

With the global affects, you would shrink in shock to see the empty spaces in the UK offices, vacant office space as large as our Happy Valley. Do not be too worried, the survivors will be the strongest and they will still be standing. Please be optimistic and look ahead to the opportunities that are coming.

The night started right after working hours. A few steps from the office front hall you could find a nice bar open until late at night. Be careful with the bitter of the Guinness draught, or the sweetness of the Magnum Scottish cider. If you are not one for liquid partying, you can have a night out at the movies in one of the Odeon cinemas. It is normal to go there alone so don’t hesitate if you haven’t got a partner. It is such a good opportunity to get a different experience there.

In Manchester there is no tube like in London. You can choose either the tram or bus systems to travel around Manchester. The speed is so remarkable, the routes are so simple and easy to find. Maybe you will be a little bit confused with the automatic ticket vending machines and which side of the station to be on to get the right shutter doors. You will hear people singing out loud on the tram after football matches, which are popular with the city having the two largest football clubs called the Red and the Blue.

Manchester city has a lot of restaurants, bars, coffee booths and shopping malls. Beside these, there are some special places worth going such as the Old Trafford Stadium, the circular Central Library, or the Science and Industry Museum. They are stunning and large enough to take up your whole day.

When you are there make sure you have a good plan and do not forget the warm coats, unless you’re a polar bear!! The temperature will suddenly drop down at night and freezing winds can hit you. The snow may be your expectation but don’t bank on it.

Renovation house

It's small house with concrete levels varied and slim existing staircase.

The main duties are as creating 2nd level, improving ventilation and adding 2 more toilets.

Garden and usable areas should be the most priority aspects...

Demolishing the core area on the 1st floor is the strong point on this concept. The metal spiral stair should be the heart of the house to get up to the existing roof in order to make a new level. A wooden mezzanine will be worth to be added above the small bedroom.

Glazed partitions are method of leading natural light to clear out the existing darkness.

The most difficulty is existing structure. Limiting the changes on them should be considered.

The other plans will be uploaded (colours would be added if photoshop was avaible here now)

As I nearly be there with my nest so it's a little bit relief.
All I have to do now is glazing to the new stuffs which is more less neccessary for family life as hook, kitchen ware, bedroom set. On top of the list is altar room joinery and brassed equipment.
There are some more things need to be done before moving to are polishing stone work, final fixing and cleaning.
the main reason for delaying until the end of this month is 'pengshui' - lunar date - good day for celebaration.

it's creating to all of us a long weekend should the Monday's off.
With nowhere to go other than around building site and showrooms, the time seems to be stretching out when you enjoy the holiday far-away :-).!.!.
Perhap it's the first three days stay alone and it becomes my frighten although I had wished a chance of sleeping in my own world, someday, hehehe.
Swering out to pagoda, wandaring on shoping floors for material choises... are my must-do things now.

With regards to my respective AM's request of reporting constructing process, I'm writing here a recent issue happened to my nest. It can be considered as bending concrete column caused by careless forming work.

It was so annoying and I had to ask the constructor breaking it down and recasting a new one in firmly and correct way.

All the expense will be charged to constructor but the delay time costs me more on this period. The market price's raising higher and higher...

Khoảng thời gian nghỉ lễ 30/4 này sao mà dài thế. Hai hôm trước trời mưa chẳng đi đâu được. Bữa nay phải đi làm mà thấy bà kon nghỉ nhiều cũng buồn. Buồn hơn là cưng cũng đi chơi mãi tận NT, 3, 4 ngày sau mới gặp lại. Sáng nay gọi điện thấy cưng nói là phía trước có tàu trật bánh nên chờ đợi lâu, bi giờ gọi cưng suốt buổi sáng mà chẳng liên lạc được, lo quá.
Hổng biết số bạn cưng ở NT, vừa nãy đi quanh VP mà chẳng tìm được số, càng lo hơn.
Không biết giờ cưng đi đến đâu nữa..
Lại phải chờ 1 lát mới gặp được admin, mong sao là có lưu thông tin liên lạc.. :-(

Chuẩn bị.
Mấy bữa nay trời mưa lớn - như chưa từng có mưa vậy. Mọi việc cũng như bị chậm lại vì thời tiết. Tự trách mình vì mấy bữa trước cứ lần khân vì 1 phần lo bão giá. Nhưng đã quyết rùi thì phải liều 1 chút.
Em rủ đi chơi mà từ chối hoài, nếu đi cũng chẳng có tâm trạng thì lại buồn thêm. thui, ráng đi cưng, sau 4 tháng nữa chắc là đi đc :-).
công việc chắc sẽ rất nhiều, trước đây có người hứa giúp tìm người trông coi VL mà bi giờ chắc là không nhớ. Mẹ cứ nhắc phải liên lạc với họ mà họ cố tình quên thì cũng thui chứ sao?
Tính cũng ngang mãi rùi quen, chẳng thèm nhờ người trông nữa, mẹ gọi điện vào lại khóc. Chắc tại thấy mình ương quá.
Chưa kịp cảm thấy công việc thế nào mà thấy tốn kém. Biết là trong dự toán đã tính rùi nhưng rút tiền hoài cũng oải. Nếu có tờ vé số độc đắc vô dịp này thì dzui - nhưng có bao giờ mua đâu mà trúng :-(.
Cũng có ý định vay mượn thêm mà thấy khó khăn. Biết ba mẹ nói luôn ở đằng sau nhưng phải tự thân trước đã. Vẫn nói đùa là nếu bán được cái gì là bán liền nhưng có những thứ không bao giờ muốn bán. Người ta thường bỏ đi những thứ vốn dĩ của mình để đầu tư vô những thứ họ khao khát, nhưng đến khi hối tiếc thì bán bao nhiêu cái khao khát ấy cũng chẳng lấy lại được cái gì đã mất..
Thui, ngủ sớm mai còn đi ra công trường rùi về cái nhà tù máy lạnh lao động tiếp...

Paperwork (money makes it all...)

All you need to buy a land/house/propery have a same obstruction named: paperwork and all the thing which need the involvement of goverment or local official.

The unique thing which can be solved quickly is banking for a loan. Money's always be a good deal and HSBC has a professional service on this. They have a link to the official so eveything can be done in a short time.

Designing: it sounds very interesting to you??? No - especially for your own. Every aspects needs to be considered befor going to the final. Fortunately, I have some 'experts' have been consulting me on structure, M&E, furniture and even small details and miscellanous works. 'Pengshui' consultant is always needed.

The most difficulty has happen: planning permission.
It made me waiting in vain before receiving the answer: the design was not accepted. One official asked: has you got the original design for the site? God know.. (I thought they had to have them on the table before signing the permission of the master planning).
The conversation droven me crazy after all when they answered me: they don't have any information for the land and please come back after one week. They will ask around for this.
Remember: I have a constructing permission of previous owner but they thought it was illegal. (extremly ridiculous...)
When I started to feel so exhausted, some people said to me: Money makes it all... and it's true, after 03 times meeting with officials, I had to give them some black money (giving under table) .. as a result.. I got the permission.... after 03 days.

Finding position - the most important task.

It's been quite long time a go when I started to think of settling down at the 'sunny morning but rainny after all' city.
Finding a suitable position for starting was so difficult to me. Buying a ton of 'ad-papers', surfing net after hard days, wasting hundred of phone calls were a nightmare.
After all, some places had been chosen, then, meeting with landlords, estimating existing conditions, checking the legalty of paperworks were not easy as we wished. Hundred of things need to be done before signing the constract.
The chalenges didnot end there as I had to finish some banking tasks. With my parents' help, I got over all. Can you imagine, the price of the land had been rocketted after this buying, thanks God.

Thailand tour

Many things happened such as working temper down as some friends - who I believed in such a long period making an U-turn. We had to confront the things in crazy mood and decided to forget the unexpect things, ignore the work for a while. Fortunately, we still had a plan before Christmas and luckily, we booked a tour for Thailand in 5days tour sucessfully.
Straight to the airport, up to the new terminal, we met the tour leader and companion after short time waiting. We had time for taking some photos as the terminal had just open for the first time operation 3 days ago. The check-in was very easy, Lufthansa had comfortable seats even with a short distance from HCM to Bangkok.
With a big surprice as the first time stepping on Thailand, we get out the airport maybe midnight as we lost time waiting for local guide. Perhalp our quicker checking out or finding the luggage (through such a lot of belts at the airport) made the waiting time longer. Luckily, I bought a tele-sim at the airpot with very cheap price as 99 bahts. (Money exchanges had taken me a lot of time on the both countries - :-). Our passport had been keep by the tour guide so Vietnam banks did not accept to exchange VND to USD :-(... I had to buy some at the 'black' market before travelling.

Có thể PS ít đọc báo chí vì nhiều lý do nhưng khi nghe nhắc đến vụ TQ muốn cướp đất mình thì PS thường tìm nhiều báo để đọc. Thật đáng hổ thẹn, các cơ quan thông tấn báo chí như bị bịt mắt, khâu miệng, chẳng thấy có 1 dòng nào. PS phải tìm đến trang BBC để tìm hiểu.
Sao lúc này PS muốn chửi thế - hic, thui, bẩn miệng thêm chứ được cái gi?.. dân đen chửi ai thèm nghe.
Nhắc đến chuyên TQ thì cũng nhiều lắm, PS nhớ lúc còn bé ông bà thường hay kể chuyện người TQ thường tìm mua móng sừng trâu, móng bò hay rễ cây hồi cây quế. Nhiều người tham tiền kiếm đủ mọi cách để có những thứ đó. Đâu ngờ đó cũng là cái bẫy của người TQ để dân mình không còn làm ăn chi được.
Còn câu TQ nhịn ăn 1 ngày có thể đủ cho người VN ăn cả năm... hic, vì thế mới có chuyện biển người thiếu ăn TQ tràn vào VN năm 79.. ghét quá...

I had a crazy moment to uninstall the Vista and reinstall my labtop with win XP. After losing so many hours to looking for drivers for GraphicS card, ethnet (xp), I had to think of Vista again.
At first, when the new vista finished, the keyboard was mal-functioned, and I was disapointed when checking internet for solutions. someones said that if i lost the recover disk, the keyboard hot key could not be used...
spending a night searching the net invent, i found our that i downloaded the utility\drivers from manufacture website by acident. :-)... 1 hour more to run all the download, my keyboard come back to life, thank God... but for now, it still losing @ button. All I could do is press crt + ". :-(

We hurried up from Sapa, came back Hanoi on a night train which took over 10 hours to travel. Landing at a very terrible train station - LongBien, I could not believe that was called a station :-). The main reason for taking off at that point is after 7AM, Laocai-Hanoi can not reach to HangCo station in the centre of Hanoi. After one hour on bus for travel from the north to the far South, we had a fast sleep at home and then rush out to buy gifts and gather information. At 6PM, we were heading to Quang Ninh on Express Coach, finally we have a room at HaLong city. It was 10PM :-(

Sapa - charming heaven :-)

It was so hot when I got out the train at Laocai. We hurried up to get the coach to Sapa after glazing through Vietnam - China borger gate. We couldn't find out the snow in this reason :-(. Unfortunately, when we were there, the weather was too clear not as we expected. But for all, we satisfied with this photo from the peak of Hamrong mountain.

When you get there, the most interesting thing is you can see, chat, take a photo of ethinic people who live in the remote area, 'san' house and make colorful clothes.
At night, on the Saturdays, you can enjoy the 'climate' of Lovers' market, 'khen' dances and taste 'thang co' (made from horses, highland's food)
I will share our experience on there later. Please packing up and phoning a tour to get there :-)... I believe you can not forget.

For now, I just uploaded some of the pictures of Kew garden, but the first felling of mine when I came to Kew was that is a cool place to have a picnic or to hide from the crowed center.

London Eye

Here we are.
Taking a round to see the London from the air is very cute. We can sparke the Burmingham Palace or take a view to the Gherkin and we can see the Monument where our project takes place.

After having lunch at Wagamama, walking around with 'Night view setting' camera made me crazy. The sights along Theme river are deeply perfect at night.
I had to try five times to shoot the photo but still blurring... :-(

I used normal setting for this photo. It is not nice as I wished but all the night setting are blurred by shaking. I should think of a camera tripod

A day on Trafagan and National Gallery

Trafagan square is very interesting area which are always full of tourists, students and doves. This view was taken from Neison column looking straight to the National Gallery where many paintings in the collection of 1000 frames you need to see before you die :-) shown.
In the Gallery we can not take photo but I spent nearly one day walking with a Attenual Audio Guide for enjoying the meanings of those masterpieces. I was very suprised to see the Sunflower, Japanese Garden as well as hundred of paintings from 1200s to 1900s.

I jsut had a quick lunch at Trafagan square with chocolate bar and fresh air :-) hehe

I took long walk way, from North Greenwick station (to see the Millennium Dome, but it was closed for construction) through the Greenwick Millennium Village to the Odeon Cinama. Then cross A102 highway to Meritime Museum and Meritime college in rain. I will upload some picture of these attractive points later. After having a glaze at Greenwick park, I down through the Foot Tunel to pass Theme River - a long way under the river :-)..
The prize was the nice views of Dockland area. On the way to Whaft Canary and Canadian Square, I saw this bridge suprisingly.... I thought it was be just for you...

I wished to snap it in the whole view but I couldn't because the light direction and not enough space...
Hope you will enjoy with this view..

It should be a lack if I do not upload some of the picture of this area for you to think of a modern space full of Skycrapes in steel and glass. When you wander through, what do you think of??? Maybe diamonds and green forest...

The most interesting thing in London is there are lots of scuptures. They stand there as you and me in the normal lifes.

This man's standing in Hydepark corner, look down to a green field full of lovers and tourists. Nearby is the high street with a tunel under for passinger. I saw an old couple with two dogs which were sleeping in peace. The couple looked as poor and sad as me - tired after long, long walkway... hurry up to get the nearest underground station... Maybe the status is better than real people in real life of real LD.

Pegodas, the places which we are always coming to have peaceful feelings, specially for the early days of Lunal new year.
We came to Keo pagoda, which is famous by the timber tower with 14 ton black copper bell on top. You can not find out a piece of nail or other metal equipment on that structure.
It is 35 km far from my house.

For the last picture, I bet that everyone in Vietnam know that. With just only one main column come from the lake, it is Vietnam symbol for traditional culture - a Lotus which come straightly form the dust (mur) but still keep clean body (literally - reality.

Hanoi - some special places

With me, Hanoi has been changing too fast in three year time ago. I come back with diffirent feelings; hot weather in the Winter, 'Maivang' are full of the flower markets, confusing traffic lights on streets ...
We are looking for a change to come back in this year in longer holiday vacation. :-)

My sister-in-law was decorating the DAO tree infront of our nest :-).

This is my brother-in-law, a hard farmer with a strong voice. The chickens was greeded on the back garden. We were not worried of bird flu or H5N1 virus. Everything seemed oki :-)

We chose the best fruits on our own garden to make a simple decoration on the altar table.

I bought yellow flower trees (cuc vang) to plant on the graveyard as a traditional actions. We were ready for Tet event.

2 day trip to CanTho

Our National Day took place on Sar so city was boring because the Mon should be off and as a result we had 3 day vacation to go. I went to Cantho by passenger car (05 hours), booked a Hotel (Hoang Cung - Saigon Cantho) near Ninh kieu Habour, rent a boat to the floatting market - Cai Rang and then waded in tropical fruit garden...
