Pagodas

Pegodas, the places which we are always coming to have peaceful feelings, specially for the early days of Lunal new year.
We came to Keo pagoda, which is famous by the timber tower with 14 ton black copper bell on top. You can not find out a piece of nail or other metal equipment on that structure.
It is 35 km far from my house.

For the last picture, I bet that everyone in Vietnam know that. With just only one main column come from the lake, it is Vietnam symbol for traditional culture - a Lotus which come straightly form the dust (mur) but still keep clean body (literally - reality.

Hanoi - some special places

With me, Hanoi has been changing too fast in three year time ago. I come back with diffirent feelings; hot weather in the Winter, 'Maivang' are full of the flower markets, confusing traffic lights on streets ...
We are looking for a change to come back in this year in longer holiday vacation. :-)

This is Van Mieu - a acient national school in Hanoi - It is existing in Hanoi logo.

A great church.

...and MOT COT pagoda - peaceful morning. We was awaiting to enter the Ho Chi Minh museum. It is next to the President Tomb - which we missed a chance to visit. It is closed on Sunday.
